How Great Is our God

            I love going to the beach. When I’m at the beach, I see what a beautiful place that God created. I see Him in a lot of ways at the beach. I am going to share with you a few ways that I see Him

            Hearing the waves crash on the shore is relaxing. It’s like a taste of heaven to be able to listen, watch, and sit while thinking how great is our God. The different birds chirping or singing their songs is a peaceful harmony.

            You can see so many different things at the beach. There are young, old, tall, and short people at the beach. When the sun is shining on the water, it’s like a bunch of jewels are glistening in the gulf. Watching the sun set on the horizon is pretty amazing.

            All the different tastes and smells will amaze you. The smell of hamburger and hotdogs cooking on a grill is one that will make you hungry. Fresh salty air is the best smell. Snow cones are really good. The best one to have is a purple (grape) one!

            Having your toes in the sand is nice, because it feels good. The water is great for when you need a cool down. Feeling the sun shine on you is fabulous because it is nice and warm.

            It is good to go to the beach and enjoy God’s wonderful gifts using our senses- hearing, seeing, tasting, smelling, and feeling. So how great is our God?

              

A few of my favorite things

    Just thinking about some my favorite things:watching scary movies with the fuzzie and sister, gold medal ribbion, the beach,cake batter from nuberri,and blaring mumford and sons in the car with the fuzzie and sister.
   

Toss me a good book and my sunglasses

   Being able to listen to music while reading and sitting outside is my favorite thing to do. I find that it helps me to not be distracted while doing things. I like some country and oldies, but I really like contemporary christian. My favorite modern day convenience is my ipod touch. It has internet, games, and of course music. It has everything you need right at your fingertips. So just toss me my ipod, a good book, and my sunglasses, and i'll be happy!

The best Friend of all

     A good friend is one that you can talk, laugh, and have fun with. Sometimes it's just fun to go somewhere that both of you enjoy going to. Family can be more than just family, they can be friends too. Friends can rely on you, and you can rely on them in some ways. It doesn't matter how old or how young your friends are, because they are still your friends. The best friend of all is God. He is always with you.

My favorite past time

    I like to have fun with my family and friends.  One of my favorite things to do is going to baseball games. I work ahead on my school  work a little, so that I can have a better chance of getting to go to a game. Last year I had a bet with my fuzzin that I could read a book in two days. I did  read a book in two days, so she treated me to a game. The breeze is perfect,the smells of outside,and food are just some of the things that I enjoy when I go to games. I have also been to a couple of games with friends and family this year. During the 8th inning  at Dick Howser Field and Fenway Park they play "Sweet Caroline" which is a favorite song of mine. Of course they are singing to me.Watching the players hit home runs is also fun. My favorite teams are the Red Sox, Braves,and FSU. Take me out to the ball game!

We will wait upon the Lord

          As my Papa would say,"when you are struggling or  having a hard time with something the best place to go is the Word, pray and to wait on the Lord."  Isaiah 40:31 says this: "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." This verse tells us that we should not give up our hope on anything because He is in control of everything.This verse reminds me of a song called "Everlasting God."

Better is one day

     During a worship service, Matt Redman was getting  up to sing  and could not think of a song to express his feelings, so he opened his Bible, and it was right at Psalm 84. He started singing "How lovely is your dwelling place." When he got home later that day, he built the song around "better is one day in your courts, better is one day in your house, better is one day in your courts than thousands elsewhere."
     "Better Is One Day" is my favorite song. I like the lyrics to the song, and I constantly have the song stuck in my head. I think that this song has a good background behind it.
